time loop
thinking about one of the characters in a book ending their life by trapping themselves in a loop of consciousness that begins with one thought A then proceeds to thought B and then C and then A again, perfectly
their mind in the SAME state at the "beginning" as the "end"
and then
for such a person
does it matter if they live "past" the end of the loop? what does that even mean? it is necessarily someone else who survives. (in the book... the loop was a subjective immortality. and in another version they end after a single iteration)
